Alvern Joseph Tsabetsaye a.k.a. “AJ”, age 52 passed away on November 12, 2020.
AJ touched lives wherever his light shone, and he was always the brightest light in any room. He desired nothing more than to spread joy to all he knew.
He flew the world with American Trans Airlines, and worked as a mortgage banker for numerous companies. Recently, he hosted karaoke in Arizona. He amassed friends every where he went. The consummate entertainer, AJ could always be counted on to tell a sappy “dad” joke, or corny story.
He had a passion for live theater and music. He was a genius in the kitchen and enjoyed spending countless hours preparing meals for everyone. There was always room at the table for one more place setting. Family and Friends meant the world to AJ. He was happiest when those near him were smiling.
AJ’s legacy will remain in the hearts of those who knew him, forever. His light will continue to shine every time a family meal is served, a curtain rises, or music is played. We will never forget his engaging smile and penchant for laughter. We are all richer because we knew him.
AJ is survived by his mother, Corrine; brother Galen and his spouse Jodi; brother Orin, Nephew Andrew and Niece Alyssa; his daughter Ashley and his 4 grandchildren Olivia, Harlan, Charlotte, and Eden.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Tsabetsaye Jr.
