Bonnie Ann Traficanti (nee Rogowski)
It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Bonnie, our loving mother and sister, devoted wife and life partner, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Bonnie was born on June 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois and left us at Chandler Regional Medical Center after a brief intestinal illness. She was 78 years young.
She is predeceased by her mother, Frances Mary Wiewiorka (nee Rogowski), her step father Tadeusz Wiewiorka, and her husband Charles Thomas Traficanti who she has joined to play cards, or bingo, while watching over us as our guardian angel.
She was the beloved mother to Scott (wife Darlene), and Steve (wife Melinda) and proud grandma to Jake and Tommy (Steve’s children). Sister to Barbara Helen Pickett (nee Wiewiorka), and Marzana Cynthia Bates (nee Wiewiorka) and Auntie Bonnie to Nicole and Marcus LaPenta (Barbara’s children) and Stacia, Genessa, and Robinson (Marzana’s children) who will cherish the memories of summer get together’s, while growing up, and recent fun reunions with the rest of the Rogowski cousins.
She will be missed tremendously by her life partner Bill Tarby and dear friend Wendy Bedell, who along with Scott and Steve were with her when she passed.
She was also Aunt Bonnie to Tom (wife Kathy) Traficanti and Janice Traficanti who have great memories of getting together for the holidays to share great food, laughs, and wine.
Please remember her in your own way, raise a glass, tell stories and recall her laughter, her story telling, and her originality.
We know she and her dear friend Judy Erl are getting into trouble as she settles into her new heavenly estate.
We love you Bonnie, and will hold a special place in our heart for you always.
