Donald Walter Green loved life. He loved traveling with his wife Laurie and spending time with friends and family.  The simple things brought him joy: a nice steak dinner, bowling, a round of golf, a game of pool, fun at the casino and telling ‘silly dad jokes’.

He radiated positive energy and always made the best of things.  He always had a smile. The answer to, “How are you?” was always, “I’m great!”.

Don served in the Navy and worked in the aerospace industry.  In retirement, he volunteered in the local community.

Don’s life was cut short November 14, 2020 by a disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). If you wish to honor Don’s memory, the family would appreciate donations to CurePSP either online at www.psp.org or by phone at (443) 578-5670.

My favorite uncle in law. If it were not for Don I may have never gotten to Hawaii or played tennis at Pepperdine.
He got my parents to travel and enjoy their retirement, his impact on my life was vast and I will miss him.
If it were not for covid my wife and I would be there for my Aunt who is also incredibly wonderful!

Don will be dearly missed. We’ll miss his jokes, cooking, vacations, and smiling face. 💕
