Janice Marie Jedlicka Brown
9/15/1942 to 1/3/2020
Born and raised in Benson area of Omaha Nebraska to Paul F Jedlicka and Edith A. Robinson. She attended St. Bernard’s elementary school and Marian HS graduating in 1962. In 1962 she married Erwin D. (Bud) Brown and moved to Yakima Washington. Through the years of raising her family and moving around she work in many venues including Canneries, Rena ware, GE, Key-Punch operator and Wells Fargo but her last position she loved the most. Through the Aspire grant she worked at Madras HS in Oregon with students who were beginning their discovery of college/career discovery.
An avid crafter who loved sewing, she did it all including uniforms for a Cheerleading Squad, her Daughter-in-laws wedding dress, children’s play clothes and a plethora of 18” doll clothes. Later she moved on the Quilts and “Stained Glass” wall hangings, many of which she donated to charity auctions.
She was kind and giving and completely dedicated to her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Paul R. Jedlicka.
She is survived by her son Paul and Sharon Brown, daughter Wendy and Dan Harned, grandchildren Hayley Harned, Megan and Coby Walsh, Justin and Kendra Brown And Great Grandson Lawson Brown.
Brother John & Trinity Jedlicka, Sister(s) Kathy Seiburg, Cheryl and Dave Kraft, Jodi Jedlicka and Louise Brown. 16 Nieces and Nephews.
