I wish I had had more opportunities to get to know him. Family gatherings were always so hectic and a bit clickish. He seemed to have lived a very full and satisfactory life and I’m glad Rosemarie married such a wonderful man. He will be missed by many.
    Best Wishes, Cousin Mary Ann

I was honored to know & love John as a friend for 47 years. I have much to thank John for over those years, First; John was was a true friend that I knew would always have my back and be there for me through the difficult times. Second; John brought down to Vegas this tall, scrawny girl named Rose that would be the best friend that I would ever have forever..Third; John was the best friend of my husband David, and believe me Dave could try a saint. John also took all of the guys in our group under his wings to be there for them, even when some did not deserve his care. John had a heart of gold but he never spoke bad of anyone and was always the first to answer a call of help. John was a very happy winner when playing pinochle, enough to make you want to punch himin the face. John was a great cake decorator who made all my kids cakes when they were young, but you would risk your life by entering “his kitchen” when he was creating. John was a great storyteller and loved to make people laugh with his jokes, but John would be the one laughing the loudest, no matter how many times he told them. I would love to hear just one of John’s jokes one more time. Most of all, I will miss Johns’ laugh, there was non like it. Thank you, John for all the wonderful memories our families have had together. You will be in my heart forever.
