My tears are in my face sometimes they cannot be stopped and they are burning my face. You embrace everybody with open arms, love and your beautiful eyes. They were smiling more, from your success and pride. You left us, with beautiful and unforgettable memories. You touch everybody’s heart. I pray for you every moment. But my tears say do not stop. They will stop when we meet again!

I have had the pleasure of Laura Milnes as a Stepmom for the past twenty plus years. She was a loving and amazing person. She had a big heart and always thought of others. Laura had a big heart for animals as well, and her current babies miss her dearly, as they look around, wait by the door, or lay on her jacket. Laura called my daughters and I (her girls) We shared many special times together. Family trips, holidays, lunches, dinners, shopping (her favorite), dancing, talking, laughing-those are the times I am going to miss. Your infectious laugh, your radiant smile, and calling us sweetie. I wish I could hear your laugh again, I wish I could have told you goodbye. You will be missed by my girls and me. I know you are still looking down on your girls, but wish you were still here! Love you always.

I will miss the sleepovers, and watching crime shows with you (I always pointed out the bad guys). On my first sleepover – I chose to sleep here. I will miss our long talks. You used to talk to me about when I was a baby. I remember coming back from Taco Bell and bringing you tacos. I wish I could of showed you my back hand spring and back flip I just learned. Nana you were always excited to see me and I was always excited to see you. Thank you for teaching me how to make the green hot salsa, chicken and pork chops. My favorite holiday with you was Christmas, and how with each gift you got, you always cried happy tears. Nana in memory of you I’m making a quilt of all your favorite shirts. I love you always and will forever miss you. Your girl.

I am sorry I was not able to say goodbye to you. I loved you very much as one of my parents and one of my teachers. You taught me to treat others how I would wish to be treated. You taught me how to be strong and have faith that everything happens for a reason. Some of my most cherished memories with you were during our late-night talks on the patio when I was a young adult. I also have a whole new appreciation for your hobby of taking pictures. We all love and miss you, rest in paradise.
