Lawrence “Larry” Ray Tiller, 83, of Chandler, AZ peacefully passed away at home on November 27, 2019.
Born February 26, 1936 in Seco, Kentucky, Larry was the 6th of 7 children born to Perry and Vada Tiller.
He married Edith Carter in 1956; they were married 14 years.
He married Wanda June Peacock in 1971; they were married 25 years.
In 1996, Larry married Anne Cumings and they were married for 23 years, until his death.
Larry attended high school in Dayton, Ohio. Upon graduation from high school, Larry entered the US Air Force serving in the Air Police and later as a Meat Cutter.
Upon separating form the US Air Force, Larry spent his long and distinguished professional career of 5 decades within the Meat Industry, serving in many capacities ranging from Meat Cutter to Executive Vice-President.
Among his many interests was his love of buying and selling just about anything, especially cars and trucks. Storytelling was also one of Larry’s beloved specialties. One can easily recall him saying “Oh son…let me tell you something” and on it went.
Larry is survived by his wife, Anne of Chandler, Arizona. Daughter Stephanie (Greg) of Dayton, OH, son Travis of Dayton, OH, Son Larry Jr (Donnetta) of Irvine, KY, step daughters Robin Showalter and Toni May (Donald) of Lexington, KY, step sons Denny (Janet) and Bill (Kristen) of Chandler, AZ, Brian, Joe (Janine) and Roy of Waukesha, WI, as well as 18 grandchildren, 6 great grand children and many beloved nieces and nephews.
