Kay was called to heaven on Monday February 4 2019. Daughter of Joe and Flo Teixiera, Kay was born in San Jose and spent most of her life in Santa Clara Ca. surrounded by family and friends. Kay was a hairdresser as a young woman and then after the passing of her father continued his legacy as owner of Santa Clara Tile Supply. She then opened Carrara Stone until her retirement. Kay moved to Payson Az. to be closer to her daughters Renee and Stephanie. Kay was never happier than living on her BACK 40 that was only an acre. Kay is survived by her SeeSter (sister)  Sharon Knight and nephew Erik and wife Allison Seaver and her daughters Renee and husband Bobby Leonard and Stephanie Romeo-Celaya and husband Trey Celaya as well as her Grandchildren Amber and husband Rick Welch, Alexis, Alyssa, Briana, Justin, Ashley, and Trevor and Great Grandchildren Ryder, Jayla, Kaylee, Lilia, Ricky, Hannah, Hayden, Julia, Robbie, Jaylene . Kay touched countless lives, and was loved by all who met her. You knew that when Kay was coming to visit there were 2 things required. Coffee and time. She would visit until the coffee ran out. Kay would talk and listen to anyone who needed her time. The vessel may be gone but through our memories Kay Jennifer Romeo will live forever in our hearts!

We will meet again,

Love you Always,

Your Family and Friends

Growing up she opened her home to me like I was another daughter to her.. Many days of smoking her butts, because she would never smoke a whole cigarette. She showed me how to play pinochle, and most of all her smile, she would light up the room. She was a extremely amazing person that showed me a lot as a young girl. She gave me some roots that I will plant in my heart forever. Heaven gained a true garden angel 😇 she will be missed
